Responsible for completing assigned engineering tasks that may include product design, existing product modification, research and development of products, production-related support tasks, and technical assistance to other departments, customers, and vendors.
Responsibilities
• Produce product designs per specifications provided by the Engineering Manager.
• Conduct design and testing in support of assigned new product development.
• Conduct product development and research for tasks assigned.
• Produce drawings with details to allow a skilled draftsperson to reduce them to production-level drawings for customer and sales support.
• Assist in the compilation of relevant technical data required for customers.
• Occasionally assist with product field troubleshooting and/or service issues.
• Prepare and process Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
• Report to Engineering Manager.
Requirements and skills
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel software.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented work culture.
• High energy level with high standards for excellence, integrity, and work ethic.

Schedule: Full-time, Temp-Hire
