Maintenance Supervisor

💲Pay: $30 to $40 per hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our facility in Edenton, NC. This role is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery, tools, and equipment, as well as the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and utility systems. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure efficient, safe, and continuous operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct maintenance staff, assigning workloads and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate and schedule repairs, preventive maintenance, and installation of equipment to minimize production downtime.
• Oversee the modification and fabrication of machinery, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Manage utility systems to ensure uninterrupted supply of power, gas, water, and air essential for plant operations.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on maintenance procedures and company policies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in a maintenance or related field.
• Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Associate or technical degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and decisions under pressure.
• Proven skills in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, including performing root cause analysis.
